Chrissy Bird is an accomplished hospice executive, Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN), and nationally respected healthcare leader with more than 17 years of experience helping hospice organizations achieve operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and sustainable growth. With a unique ability to bridge clinical expertise and executive strategy, Chrissy partners with hospice leaders to build high-performing organizations that deliver exceptional patient care while thriving in today’s increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Throughout her distinguished career, Chrissy has held executive leadership positions including Area Vice President of Operations, Regional Vice President of Operations, National Director of Executive Operations, National Director of Clinical Operations, Executive Director, and Clinical Director. She has successfully led multi-state hospice operations, guided organizations through acquisitions and start-ups, developed executive leadership teams, and implemented large-scale operational and quality improvement initiatives that have strengthened organizational performance across diverse healthcare settings.
As a Consultant with Hospice Support Specialists, Chrissy specializes in operational optimization, leadership development, hospice growth strategy, quality improvement, compliance, survey readiness, financial performance, and clinical operations. She is recognized for helping organizations improve census growth, strengthen clinical eligibility processes, enhance operational efficiency, and develop leadership teams that foster accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.

She is committed to shaping the future of hospice through leadership development, advocacy, and education.
Chrissy earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University.
